Prior to joining the attorneys at Vittoria Purdy & Cavallaro LLP in 2013, Mr. Cavallaro practiced independently. Before that, he practiced in the Trusts and Estates department of the New York City law firm, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. He is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Cavallaro practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand before entering law school.
In addition to counseling Executors and Trustees regarding estate and trust administration, Mr. Cavallaro also renders specialized advice regarding highly sophisticated estate planning, including lifetime transfers of wealth with the goal of maximizing gift and estate tax savings, for Fulton Vittoria's clients. He also serves as a director, officer, and general counsel for various large private foundations, and regularly counsels several international, Manhattan-based financial institutions regarding tax, accounting, and general matters of trust administration and construction, as well as miscellaneous Surrogate's Court proceedings.
