Mr. Purdy initially worked for six years as an associate with the Nashville, Tennessee law firm of King & Ballow before joining Vittoria Purdy & Cavallaro LLP in 1994, where he served as managing partner for over 20 years. He is licensed to practice law in New York and Tennessee.

Current Work

Mr. Purdy specializes in Trust and Estate matters, with a particular emphasis on planning, estate administration, trust administration, and gift and estate tax advice. He represents a significant number of Executors and Trustees (both corporate and individual) in all matters ranging from the probate of Wills and administration of estates and trusts, to Surrogate's Court accounting and other miscellaneous proceedings. He also sits on the board of numerous charitable foundations. Mr. Purdy's clients include some of the best known names in New York finance, sports, arts, and entertainment.
